第一届小动物兽医专科发展大会于2025年7月成功举办，大会汇聚了300余位小动物临床专科讲师，开设了79场（半天/场）专场课程，吸引了来自全国各地的3000余名兽医师同仁以及70余家优质企业与会交流学习，得到多家主流大众媒体、行业媒体、自媒体的关注报道，有效推动了小动物临床专科发展理念普及与知识技能分享，获得行业广泛认可。

The 1st Small Animal Veterinary Specialty Congress was successfully held in July 2025. The event brought together over 300 clinical small animal specialty lecturers, featured 79 specialized sessions (half-day per session), and attracted more than 3,000 veterinary colleagues from across the country, as well as over 70 high-quality enterprises for exchange and learning. The congress received extensive coverage from numerous mainstream public media, industry media, and self-media outlets. It effectively promoted the popularization of small animal clinical specialty development concepts and the sharing of knowledge and skills, gaining widespread recognition across the industry.

为持续深化小动物兽医专科化体系建设，着力搭建国际化、专业化学术交流与合作平台，进一步提升小动物兽医临床服务技能水平，推进国内兽医诊疗服务及相关产业与国际同行融合共进新征程，中国兽医协会拟举办第二届小动物兽医专科发展大会，现将有关事宜通知如下：

In order to continuously deepen the construction of the small animal veterinary specialty system, focus on building an international and professional academic exchange and cooperation platform, further enhance clinical service skills for small animal veterinarians, and advance the new journey of integration and mutual progress between domestic veterinary diagnostic services and related industries with international peers, the Chinese Veterinary Medical Association (CVMA) plans to host the 2nd Small Animal Veterinary Specialty Congress. The Congress will cover small animal imaging, laboratory diagnostics, anesthesia, surgery, internal medicine, oncology, clinical nutrition, orthopedics, exotic pets, neurology, dentistry, cardiology, dermatology, feline medicine, traditional Chinese veterinary medicine, ophthalmology, endoscopy, and preventive medicine (health management). Topics will include clinical innovation, infectious diseases, antibiotic resistance, and international expertise.
